Each range is designed to match your ski level. To make the most of your stay in Chamonix, Skimax recommends that you reserve equipment according to your experience and the number of days you have spent on skis. If you have any doubts, do not hesitate to contact us via our contact form.

Blue Ski

This ski range is for beginners. Easy to handle and to control, it will accompany you in your learning on green tracks until the mastery of the blue tracks.

We advise you to choose a ski 20 cm below your height, approximately at chin height.

Red Ski

A category for intermediate skier, knowing how to ski on blue slopes and wanting to accompany him in his progress on the red slopes. Skiing will bring comfort and safety. We advise you to take a ski 15 cm below your waist, around eye level.

Black ski

A category for experienced skiers, knowing how to ski on the red slopes and wanting to be comfortable on the black slopes.

This ski combines performance, nervousness and ease of control. It will ensure stability in medium and high speeds and small and large curves.

We advise you to choose a ski 5 to 10 cm below your height for a skier seeking a little more maneuverability and size for a more stable ski with more grip in speed.

Diamond ski

The radius of the experts ! This range is dedicated to the pure sportsmen because far less accessible and more powerful than skis said "general public". It is divided into two categories of practices.

  • Performance tracks : we advise you to choose a ski at the waist for a carving practice and a ski shorter 5 to 10 cm below for a practice slalom / short-turn.
  • Off-piste : this ski will forgive small mistakes and adapt to your ski style. It will bring you lift in deep snow, as well as an ease to turn short and changes of rays. We advise you to choose a ski at the waist to see 5 to 10 cm above depending on the snow conditions.
